I love the hat - I think the pin is just perfect, and you can always change it out with one of your cute crochet floral pins if you wanted a change! I love crocheting hats and headbands for my granddaughters, and they love them!

I have really enjoyed your posts about Laura Wilder and her sister Rose. It does make me wonder about why some people just do things differently - Rose just sounds like she was a very independent woman and way beyond her time! I had a few ancestors like that!

Being frugal is becoming more and more important in my life as we approach retirement. I know that some people retire with a bank full of money and lots of investments, but not us, and it's okay. We will have to pinch our pennies, like we always have, plant a more in the garden, drive less, turn down the thermostat and live like my grandparents did - and they lived a good life. I admire you for taking those steps in your life, and for sharing it - thank you!

Take care, and have and enjoy this very special Easter Sunday!

Hugs,
BarbBarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158897469583069249noreply@blogger.com
