I wanted to show you my beautiful old fashioned rose that is blooming now. I don't know the name, someone gave it to me out of her yard as a housewarming gift. I love old fashioned roses because they are so effortless and beautiful.
Another beach find the large shell. I thought it would make a good vase or even planted, but I need to figure out a little stand for it, so I put one of my roses in it with some water and just stuck it in a pot with an herb.

That is the loveliest rose! The old fashioned varieties are so beautiful. Love that you used a shell as a vase - so creative and pretty!

P.S. Oh that yellow daisy is a Black Eyed Susan
I just love old-fashioned roses! There is something about the petals, so fluffy and fragrant, that I just can't resist! I wish I was sitting with you taking in the beauty and and the smell!
Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog Susan, I always love hearing from you. I am now looking for small flat rocks, for flower markers, still with they were shells :o(
Hugs,
Barb
